| Founded in 1419 by Da. Juana Rodríguez Maldonado.
The inside contains a beautiful arched Moorish doorway topped by a socle.
Its church was built in 1533 in the finest Plateresque style. The temple
holds 7 ribbed vaults and an apsidal.
The central altar is of very elegant Baroque style. The choir and cloisters hold pictoric altarpieces from the sixteenth century. The courtyard is one of the gems of the Spanish renaissance. |
